Men possess more power, vigor, and enthusiasm as compared to women. But, most Americans believe that women have the right stuff to be political leaders. Although more men have been seen in leadership positions, the difference they made varies from person to person. They come and go in social, economical, cultural, and political leadership roles, making them a necessity in the day to day activities of the world.

In contrast to the traditional ideas of men leaders, women stand out more in leadership positions. While a woman steps up to be a leader, she is seen as a person who brings change and makes a difference in our day to day lives. Because women leaders have been so rare in history the significance or those who became leaders was much greater than that of the men.

According to a study, there are several characteristics that set female leaders apart from their male counterparts such as – women leaders are more persuasive and assertive, and are more willing for taking risks than men leaders. They were also found to be more flexible and empathetic, as well as stronger in social skills than their male counterparts. The women leaders are also able to bring others around to their point of view, because they truly understand and care about where others are coming from. So that, the people they lead feel more supported, understood and valued.

Women always tend to put the success of the team first and are better team players than men. And because women's management style centers around relationship building, it's best suited to the 21st century's team oriented work environment.
