In June 2006, Irene Rosenfeld was positioned as chief executive officer of Kraft Foods. She accepted the additional position of chairman in March 2007, after Altria Group’s let off of Kraft.
Ms. Rosenfeld has Twenty Six-years of experience in the beverage and food industry also has a long history of attracting an innovation and consumer focus to building businesses. Ms. Rosenfeld began her profession in New York at Dancer Fitzgerald Sample marketing agency and then joined General Foods in customer research. After the years, Irene advanced in a mixture of leadership responsibilities at Kraft. With her many achievements, she led the reorganization and turnaround of chief businesses in the United States, Mexico and Canada, and the very successful integration of the Nabisco acquirement. Ms. Rosenfeld also goes on the senior team which led Kraft’s primary public offering within 2001.
In 2004, Ms. Rosenfeld was employed chief executive officer and chairman of Frito-Lay, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, where she led her business to accelerated expansion in better-for-you products and widened a pipeline of wellness and health offerings.
Ms. Rosenfeld is vigorous in a number of community and industry organizations, with the Economic Club of Chicago. Irene moreover serves on the board of directors for the Cornell University Board of Trustees and the Grocery Manufacturers Association.
Ms. Rosenfeld holds a Ph.D. in statistics and marketing, a Master's of science in business administration, and a bachelor of arts in psychology from Cornell University.
Irene has been a director from June 2006.
