At times many women, married or committed or single, at work find themselves at an awkward position with their bosses or colleagues. Sexual harassment in offices is rarely disclosed but since 1980, the Commission of Equal Employment Opportunity has put forth guidelines extending the Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act to forbid any forms of sexual harassment under sexual discrimination. Sexual Harassment has therefore become against the law and a person can risk his job if such charges are placed against him. The company at the victim's discretion can also involve the police.
